Olive Tree (Olea europaea)

A very hardy, long lived, slow growing evergreen tree, with grey-green foliage.
Olives produce large numbers of creamy white flowers during spring that turn into green fruit which ripen to black through summer and autumn which adds interest to the overall look of the plant.

Care

LIGHT
Prefers full sun but can adapt to part shade.

WATER
Keep moist over the warmer months. Reduce watering in the cooler months and allow the plant to dry longer between watering. 

NUTRIENTS
Feed with slow-release native fertiliser once every six months (refers to packaging for dosage). In the warmer months, feed once or twice with a liquid fertiliser.

IDEAL TEMPERATURE
Cool to warm.
