A Zanzibar gem is the perfect plant for a beginner as it is extremely forgiving if slightly neglected. Its dark-green, shiny, waxy leaves look prehistoric, making it a great sculptural floor plant in your hallway or living room.

Care
LIGHT
Prefers bright light but can adapt to low light.
WATER
Water sparingly and keep mostly dry. Water once the surface of the soil looks dry.
NUTRIENTS
Feed with slow-release fertiliser once every six months (refers to packaging for dosage).In the warmer months, feed monthly with a liquid fertiliser.
